Xochilt Rosas
Mediator
Ms. Rosas’ whole professional career has been in conflict resolution. Her professional journey involved law enforcement, ombudsman, and labor union experience. Mediation is her passion.

Unlike many others, her prior law enforcement experience provided her with the ability to focus on efficient communication, active listening and finding key issues. For many years she de-escalated conflict and collaboration helped her achieve resolutions in short timeframes. Her journey in this field helped her mediate with impartiality, empathy and remain calm under pressure while navigating diverse and potentially tense situations.
Her Ombudsman experience provided her with a background in highly confidential and impartial conflict resolution. She addressed concerns from various stakeholders while upholding ethical standards. As a union director, she stood for the rights and interests of the union members. Her labor union experience included negotiating collective bargaining agreements, advocating for fair labor practices while keeping relationships with both members and management.
Her passion to mediate led her to further her education. She returned to school and received a Master of Dispute Resolution with a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Law and Compliance from USC Gould School of Law. She volunteered with the Los Angeles Superior Court System and is an active member of the Southern California Mediation Association (SCMA), American Bar Association (ABA) and International Ombuds Association (IOA).
She is passionate about helping others resolve conflicts in a productive, non-litigious way using mediation, and collaborative problem solving to find solutions for all parties. Her areas of expertise include employment mediation, Workplace Discrimination Mediation, landlord/tenant, consumer and business disputes. Our business also helps in preparing you for small claims. She is also fluent in English and Spanish. She looks forward to hearing from you!
